Namo Bharat Train New Time Table, Now Rapid Rail (RRTS) Will Run for Longer Hours

Beginning on May 20th, the Namo Bharat train will run for longer hours, designed to be more convenient and flexible for passengers. From Monday through Saturday, the trains will operate between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., while on Sundays, they will start running at 8 a.m. and continue until 10 p.m. Previously, the trains stopped operating at 8 p.m., which was quite early, especially for people who work late or have evening appointments. This extension provides an additional two-hour period of service in the evenings.

The Namo Bharat train currently operates on a 34-kilometer stretch from Sahibabad to Modinagar North, with eight major stations in between. These stations include Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Duhai Depot, Muradnagar, Modinagar South, and Modinagar North. This route is part of the larger Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor, which will cover about 82 kilometers upon completion. The current section represents just over a third of the total length, with the remaining parts still under construction. The Delhi-Meerut RRTS aims to bridge the gap between these two cities faster than ever before, ensuring better connectivity.

The second section of the Namo Bharat train, from Duhai to Modinagar North, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 6 in Ghaziabad and opened for public use on March 7. This extension has increased the network\’s reach and improved operational efficiency. It is a key part of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor, connecting various nearby towns, including Meerut, and offering travelers more options, speed, and reliability.
