Dwarka Expressway To Be Link With Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway Route map

Dwarka Expressway

A new flyover is being built to connect the Dwarka Expressway with the Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway. This will make it easier for people coming from Delhi to reach Pataudi or Rewari by car. The flyover is also expected to enhance connectivity and smoothen traffic flow between these two major roads, thus cutting down travel time for daily commuters.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has set a target of completing the construction of this flyover by March next year. However, NHAI has further made a commitment to finish the entire Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway project before December 31 this year. The expressway stretches about 46 kilometers long and costs around ₹900 crore ($108 million USD), which indicates its magnitude and significance.

Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Route

The new expressway will start from Sector 88A to 88B of the Dwarka Expressway and stretch towards Rewari. Connecting this portion of the Dwarka expressway with the Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway at Royal Green Reality Courtyard in Sector-37D, the flyover is approximately 183 meters in length. This connection is anticipated to greatly improve the effectiveness of operations within regional road network systems.

Initially, Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari Expressway was supposed to be ready by 2022 but due to different reasons such as delays and other challenges among others; it did not meet its deadline for completion. The revised date reflects how complicated it was and what had been done so far including overcoming obstacles encountered during work execution.

High-voltage power lines have to be shifted so that the flyover can be constructed easily. For this process, there must be coordination with Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPN) which will ensure efficient management during relocation without interfering much with the electricity supply. This step is very important since it will enhance the safety and continuity of the construction work.
