Soon, electric bus services will be introduced from Agra’s Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) to Delhi which is a huge leap towards greener public transport in the area. As of now, charging points are being set up at ISBT as part of the preparations. Around 100 electric buses will be delivered to Agra under this scheme.
A total of 25 electric buses will be operated in Agra during the first phase starting in October and plying on various important routes which include the Agra-New Delhi route along with Mathura, Aligarh, Etah, and Hathras among others. These buses will not only decrease pollution but also ensure a better traveling experience for the passengers by providing them with comfort and convenience.
