Dubai recently announced plans to build what will be the world’s largest airport terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport. Upon completion, the new terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport is estimated to have an unprecedented capacity to handle 260 million passengers per year. The terminal’s size alone is impressive; it will be five times larger than the current Dubai International Airport – evidencing Dubai’s commitment to pushing infrastructural and operational boundaries.
