Dubai recently announced plans to build what will be the world’s largest airport terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport. This landmark project, driven by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, represents a quantum leap for the aviation industry and a major step in Dubai’s journey towards becoming a global transportation hub.

Upon completion, the new terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport is estimated to have an unprecedented capacity to handle 260 million passengers per year. This capability eclipses that of any other airport worldwide, firmly establishing Dubai as a leader in global aviation. The terminal’s size alone is impressive; it will be five times larger than the current Dubai International Airport – evidencing Dubai’s commitment to pushing infrastructural and operational boundaries.
