The Sonia Vihar Pushta Road, which links Delhi with Tronica City and Baraut, suffers from extreme traffic congestion. During the first phase of the project, the government will employ more auxiliary police officers at the key bottleneck locations, among which is included Sonia Vihar Pushta Road and Khajuri Chowk. This will allow for the smoother flow of traffic, particularly during the morning and evening rush hours. Now, with the auxiliary police in place, the amount of redirection needed to be done will go down significantly.

Phase 2: Road Expansion and Infrastructure Development

This phase will aim to widen the ever-populated Pushta Road, extending from Sonia Vihar. The area in between Zero Pushta and One Pushta will serve as an elevated road as NGT put a stop to road building. Other improvements at Khajuri Chowk will remove the remaining traffic jams.
