Godrej Properties, a Mumbai-based real estate developer, has announced the sale of more than 2,000 homes worth over ₹3,150 crore at its Bengaluru-based Godrej Woodscapes project in Whitefield. This information was shared via a regulatory filing on July 2. The company has sold over 3.4 million square feet of space at this East Bengaluru location–the highest-ever launch sales for April-June quarter of 2024 in terms of value as well as volume.
This particular launch has resulted in an impressive QoQ sales growth rate exceeding 500% for Godrej Properties in Bengaluru alone which is even higher than their full-year FY24 figures achieved across South India during Q1 itself!
“With our project Godrej Woodscapes receiving such great feedback we couldn’t be happier! South India remains one the most critical regions for us; henceforth we plan on expanding here exponentially,” MD & CEO Gaurav Pandey said about these achievements made by his firm.
For Godrej Properties, this marks the second project that crossed ₹2,000 crore sales during June quarter FY25 and also sixth one within last four quarters where they achieved more than ₹2000 crorersales on opening day itself. Previous launches were located at Noida,Gurugram and Kandivali (in MMR).
There are few launches lined up by GPL in Bangalore this fiscal year along with South Indian market entry through Hyderabad where it will have strong presence already being established there over time added Mr.Pandey
Additionally, to develop a premium housing project having approximately 900k sq ft and revenue potential around INR1200Cr., company acquired seven acre land parcel situated at North Bangalore’s Thanisandra on July’21.
In FY24-23 , GPL reported bookings worth INR22,527Cr.and set guidance of INR27,000Cr. bookings for current fiscal year 24-25.
