As per recent reports, this marks Mr. Bachchan’s fourth property acquisition in Ayodhya. He is said to have bought a sprawling 25,000 sq ft plot of land near the “Sarayu” real estate development project. The estimated value of this latest acquisition is around ₹40 crore, further cementing his footprint in one of India’s most culturally significant cities.

A History of Strategic Investments in Ayodhya

This isn’t the first time the veteran actor has invested in the city. Earlier, prior to the grand consecration of Ram Lalla at the Ram Mandir, he purchased a 5,372 sq ft plot reportedly worth ₹4.54 crore. Additionally, he has invested ₹14.5 crore in the Sarayu project, acquiring a 54,000 sq ft plot.

Sources close to the matter suggest that Amitabh may be planning to build a memorial in Ayodhya in honor of his father, the legendary poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan — although no official statement has been released by the actor or his representatives.

Family’s Growing Interest in Real Estate

The Bachchan family as a whole appears to be diversifying their portfolio through property investments. Not long ago, Amitabh and his son Abhishek Bachchan jointly purchased 10 high-end apartments, with an estimated combined value of ₹25 crore.

What’s Next for Amitabh Bachchan?

As the real estate boom continues in Ayodhya post-Ram Mandir development, all eyes are on who else might follow the superstar’s lead in placing big bets on this holy city’s future.
